Cotswold Way Century

The Cotswold Way National Trail dictates the route, running point-to-point from Chipping Campden to Bath over public rights of way. Cotswold Way Century is a single-stage ultra in the plainest sense: non-stop racing, licensed under UK Athletics rules, and aimed at runners old enough to know exactly what they are taking on. Expect hard stone tracks, trails, road sections, grassy paths and ploughed fields, with frequent climbs and descents that keep taking a bite. Navigation is part of the job: you "follow existing Cotswold Way waymarks," usually the acorn markers, with extra help only where the organisers choose to add it. There is a "32 hour completion limit," live tracking, food stations and medical cover, and the finishers' buckle matters; "Sub 24 hour buckles available" tells you what kind of crowd will be pushing at the sharp end.
