Divorce Day Defib Fundraiser

The Divorce Day Defib Fundraiser begins at The Unicorn Inn in Little Dawley, Telford. Participants can select one, two, or three laps, covering 8 miles, 16 miles, or a marathon distance, respectively. This June race takes place on mixed paths and tracks in Shropshire, commencing at 9:00 am, and all proceeds benefit the Defib Fund. How Hard Can It Be Events is the organiser, a fitting name for an event that embraces a humorous approach and a fancy-dress theme. The route incorporates sections of the Silkin Way, Rough Park, and the Valley of Ironbridge, including a crossing of the Ironbridge itself. Completing one lap finishes the 8-mile race, two laps constitute the 16-mile option, and three laps make up the marathon. Fancy dress is encouraged as part of the enjoyment, with the organiser humorously suggesting top hats and tiaras as required attire. Results from past events are available, allowing returning runners to track their progress.
