The Dorney Lake Duathlon is a flat run-bike-run event held at Dorney Lake, the Olympic rowing venue located near Windsor. Participants can select from three race distances: Super Sprint, Sprint, and Standard. These range from a 2.5k run, 10k bike, 2.5k run format to a 10k run, 38k bike, and 5k run. All distances begin simultaneously in the morning, with chip timing for results.
The course utilizes the level roads and paths within the lake venue, making it suitable for athletes aiming for a personal best or new to duathlon who prefer a course without hills. The route is marked with distance flags, and marshals will be present to guide participants. Relay entries are available for teams of two or three. The entry fee covers a themed medal, complimentary official photographs, and post-race refreshments. British Triathlon membership or a single-use Race Pass is also required for participation.
