Dramathon 2026

The Dramathon is a whisky-themed running event in Speyside, Scotland. The marathon begins at Glenfarclas distillery and concludes at Glenfiddich distillery. It occurs annually in October and includes multiple race options: the Full Dram (nearly 42km), the Half Dram (nearly 21km), a 10K, and a relay. The event is also known as the Speyside Single Malt Marathon, highlighting its focus on distance running within Scotland’s whisky region. The marathon route utilizes the Speyside Way, primarily on forest tracks with some minor roads and inclines. The course passes multiple distilleries, offering runners whisky samples en route and collecting distance-matched miniatures at the finish. Over 1,500 participants from more than 25 countries travel to Speyside for the event, attracting serious marathoners, relay teams, half-marathon runners, 10K entrants, and individuals interested in the unique experience of running between renowned distilleries.
