Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge 2026

The Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge begins at a basecamp near Maidstone, leading participants onto the North Downs Way within the Kent Downs. This event offers 50km, 25km, and 10km routes suitable for ultra-distance runners, long-distance walkers, and those seeking a shorter trail challenge. Participants can choose to self-fund or fundraise for charity, with over 600 charities participating, including Oasis Domestic Abuse Service as a supported cause. The course is marked and supported by the Ultra Challenge framework, featuring frequent rest stops with complimentary food and beverages, medical personnel, marshals, and massage services. Walkers may opt for the ULTRA MARCH® format, while quicker runners can select the TRAILBLAZERZ® option. Individual start times are available to accommodate various paces. On-site parking and weekend camping facilities are provided, allowing participants to extend their involvement over the full weekend. The race is recognized with ITRA Mountain Level 2 points and awards 150 points to finishers.
