About this race
EnduranceLife North Cornwall begins on the golden sands of Polzeath, a village situated on Cornwall's rugged north coast. This trail running event offers 10K, half marathon, marathon, and ultra distances, allowing participants to select anything from a shorter coastal run to an extended challenge over varied terrain. The ultra distance is a UTMB Index race, covering 50.80 km with 1,715 metres of ascent, indicating a demanding course rather than a simple seaside run.
The courses lead north-east from Polzeath, crossing open coastline with the Atlantic Ocean visible for a significant portion of the race. Runners will navigate around the Pentire Peninsula, pass through fishing villages and valleys, and ultimately return to Polzeath to conclude the event. The routes feature substantial elevation changes, meaning the coastal vistas are accompanied by considerable climbing. All finishers, regardless of distance, accumulate points for the EnduranceLife season leaderboard, with their scores determined by their results across the series.
