EnduranceLife Sussex

Saturday, March 6, 2027 · Eastbourne, United Kingdom

About this race

EnduranceLife Sussex starts from Helen Gardens in Eastbourne, with four trail options: 10K, half marathon, marathon, and ultra. The routes sit between Eastbourne and Seaford in the eastern South Downs National Park, using chalk, forest, cliff-top paths, and rolling downland rather than flat road miles. It is part of the Endurancelife trail running season, which runs from September to July, and finishers in any distance earn points for the Season Leader Board. The short race is still tough, with about 1,276 feet of climbing over 6.4 miles, while the ultra stretches to about 32.5 miles and 5,266 feet of ascent. The courses make heavy use of the Sussex coast, including the white chalk cliffs and the Seven Sisters area, so the day suits runners who want climbs, exposed coastal ground, and trail footing more than a fast city course. East Dean village works well for supporters and accommodation, and runners are pointed toward The Pilot Inn in Eastbourne or The Tiger Inn in East Dean for meeting up after the finish.
