Gavin Tipper 5K

The Gavin Tipper 5K is an evening 5K held at Heartwood in Kingswinford, West Midlands. It begins at 7:30pm near the DY6 0AW postcode. The race is run in memory of Gavin Tipper, with all proceeds donated to Action Heart. Gavin was a long-time player for DK Rugby Club, scoring their sole try at Twickenham. Post-rugby, he mentored young athletes across Black Country Triathletes, Tipton Harriers, and Halesowen cycling. Consequently, the race reflects a strong local-sport connection beyond a standard charity event.
