About this race
The Jane Tomlinson Canal Race Series, now in its 20th year, offers three 5k races on the flat Aire and Calder Navigation towpath. Open to runners aged 12 and up, the series supports the Jane Tomlinson Appeal. Participants receive mementos after each race, and series entrants get a T-shirt. A £50 prize is offered for the course record, and a £100 prize for the club with the most runners. The final race includes a 1.5-mile Fun Run for all ages.
