Jurassic Express Trail Run 2027 (Swanage to Corfe Castle)

The Jurassic Express Trail Run begins on Swanage seafront and concludes at Corfe Castle. Participants can select from a 21km half marathon, a 16.5km route, or a 10.5km route. This timed trail event takes place on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, featuring staggered morning starts, water stations, on-route first aid, and a finish cut-off timed to coincide with the final return train. All distances commence from the beachfront on Shore Road, proceeding onto trails that offer views of the Jurassic coastline, including Old Harry Rocks and Studland Bay. Those who finish will be awarded a medal and goodies in Corfe. An additional, unique feature allows participants to take a private steam train ride back to Swanage via the heritage Swanage Railway line.
