Knowsley Harriers 5K

The Knowsley Harriers 5K is a monthly 5k race held in Halewood. It begins and ends near the Environment Centre on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30am. Knowsley Harriers AC has organized the race since 2011. It offers a straightforward, licensed opportunity to run a precisely measured 5k. While entry is free, participants must make a minimum charity donation. The event provides online registration, parking, baggage storage, toilets, indoor registration facilities, and online results. The course is fast, flat, and entirely on tarmac, making it suitable for runners aiming for a personal best as well as those seeking the challenge of completing 5k. Both club and unattached runners are welcome. Participants include individuals competing seriously, assessing their fitness, or running for enjoyment. Throughout the year, the series includes a points competition. Runners require at least six races, with their six fastest times being considered. Awards are presented to the top male and female runners, along with age-category winners, typically at the subsequent February race.
