Leeds Running Festival 2026

The Leeds Running Festival offers chip-timed races within Roundhay Park in Leeds, featuring 5k, 10k, half marathon, and junior distances. The half marathon begins in the morning, followed by the 5k and 10k races, with the junior race held later. This schedule accommodates adults aiming for a timed run and families with younger participants. The course covers road and gravel paths throughout the 700-acre park, which includes parkland, woodland, lakes, and gardens. The half marathon route has a stated elevation gain of 61 metres, presenting a moderate challenge rather than a flat course. Participants receive chip-timed results, a themed medal, complimentary race photos, and post-race treats. The event also benefits St. Gemma's Hospice in Leeds.
