Moonlight Meander 2026

Moonlight Meander is a night trail run starting at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir Car Park near Otley in North Yorkshire. Runners depart in the early evening onto woodland and reservoir paths. Two looped courses are available: a 3.3-mile route and a 6.7-mile route, approximating 5K and 10K. The course consists of good-quality trail, is undulating, signed, marshalled, and supported with aid stations approximately every 3 miles. The run crosses forest paths and circles Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs in low light, making head torches essential. Organisers also suggest fairy lights, lanterns, and light-sabers, contributing to a more playful atmosphere than a typical evening trail race. It is a relaxed, sociable run with parking, registration, and toilets located at the reservoir car park. Finishers receive a custom medal and refreshments.
