The Moray Way Ultras Dava Way 50K is a point-to-point ultramarathon in Moray, Scotland, from Grantown to Forres. It covers 50km on the Dava Way trail, attracting around 300 runners from across the UK, including experienced athletes and first-time ultra participants.
The route starts in Grantown, follows the Dava Way's old railway path, then passes through Sanquhar Woods and Cluny Hill before ending in Forres' Park. Race director Kyle Greig, a Forres native who has run much of the course, established the event partly for runners fundraising for charity or in memory of others. Almost half the participants are new to ultramarathons, meaning the finish is about more than just podium positions, though previous winners and club runners also compete. Over 30 volunteers assist, the Dava Way Association maintains the trails, and finishers receive beers from Windswept Brewing.
