MTC Boggart 2026

Gretna Green marks the start of this new single-day ultra, part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series. The MTC Boggart is contained within the larger Mount to Coast End to End Challenge, following the same path as the JOGLE race but divided into shorter daily segments. This course remains firmly within ultra-runner territory, not suited for a casual outing. The route is a point-to-point road race, transitioning from nature to city environments. It also serves as Day 1 of the England end-to-end challenge, ALBION. The appeal is straightforward: tackle one segment of the "epic End to End challenges" without undertaking the entire series. Participants receive a custom race medal, and there's a narrative element tied to "The Myths & Legends of ENGLAND," which lends the day its distinctive, memorable name.
