About this race
NorthowRun5 is an annual 5-mile road race in and around Northowram, West Yorkshire, starting from Northowram Sports and Activity Club. It is a one-lap, chip-timed run with an undulating profile, suitable for newer runners yet hilly enough to provide a local challenge.
The route passes through the village and offers views across the Calder Valley. Northowram Pumas Running Club organises the race, with entries limited to 200 runners. Participants receive a complimentary drink. Age-category winners are presented after the race. The event includes hot food, drinks, family activities, and an open bar. A portion of the profit supports Calder Valley Search and Rescue.
