About this race
Pretty Muddy Nottingham is a Race for Life 5K obstacle event held at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. The route covers just over 3 miles, but it's not run like a typical timed road race. Participants climb, crawl, slide, and get covered in mud at their own pace. The main event begins in the morning, with a format focused on enjoyment rather than achieving a specific finish time.
The course is suitable for individuals, groups of friends, and families seeking a muddy challenge without the stress of a strict time goal. While a standard 5K run might take around an hour, this event also includes a Pretty Muddy Kids Race for younger participants. As part of Cancer Research UK's Race for Life series, the day involves fundraising for life-saving cancer research, with GoFundMe available as a platform to begin collecting donations.
