Ride & Stride — Friends of Essex Churches Trust 2026

Ride & Stride is an annual cycling and walking event organized by the Friends of Essex Churches Trust. Participants visit churches across the county to raise money for restoration and maintenance projects. The event is open to everyone, from casual walkers to serious cyclists, and serves as the Trust's largest fundraiser of the year. The route is not fixed; participants choose their own course, traveling between as many churches as they wish in a single day. The National Churches Trust supports the initiative.
