Run Bournemouth

Run Bournemouth is an October race weekend on England's south coast, offering distances from the Kids' Kilometre to the Bournemouth Half Marathon. The main events include a 13.1-mile half marathon, a 10K named the Supersonic 10K, and a dusk 5K called the Supernova 5K. Children have separate 2K, 1.5K, and 1K races for ages 3 to 12. The half marathon and 10K follow the Bournemouth coastline, passing Boscombe Pier and Bournemouth Pier, with the finish at Bournemouth Pier Approach. The Supernova 5K begins on Bournemouth Prom, concludes near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens, and features illuminated sections after dusk. Junior races also start on the prom and finish near the hub. The Kids' Kilometre incorporates Bournemouth Pier, allowing adults to accompany children without a separate entry. The half marathon is suitable for first-time participants, the 10K is flat and fast for those aiming for a personal best, and all finishers receive a medal and T-shirt.
