Running GP at Goodwood Motor Circuit October 2026

Runners will use the Goodwood Motor Circuit, the same venue as motor racing. This October event near Chichester is a road race on a closed tarmac track, not on city streets or trails. It is chip timed, traffic free, and offers multiple distance options: 5K, 10K, half marathon, 20 miles, marathon, and 50K. The course is straightforward: runners remain on the circuit surface, with distance markers for each kilometre. Goodwood’s layout has been unchanged since 1948, providing a distinct motorsport setting without road crossings or mixed terrain. The event village provides practical race-day amenities, including food, drink, and partner giveaways for participants and supporters.
