Manchester Half Marathon

The Manchester Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile road race in Manchester, run on closed roads through Greater Manchester. It is the largest half marathon of its kind in the North West, with over 10,000 runners on the route. The race suits first-time half marathoners, regular club runners, and anyone chasing a personal best, because the course is designed to be quick and approachable rather than hilly or technical. The route starts around the M16 0RP area and finishes at Old Trafford, home of Lancashire County Cricket Club. Finishers receive a medal, and many runners use the day to raise money for The Christie, a Manchester cancer charity.
