Serpent Trail Ultra Run 2026

The Serpent Trail Ultra Run is a 30-mile trail run starting and finishing in Haslemere, Surrey, with an early November morning start. It is intended for runners attempting their first ultra; the route is designed for them, the group receives guidance, and the entry cost is £45. Parking is available at the start, and Haslemere station is a short run or taxi ride away. The route follows parts of the Serpent Trail and the Sussex Border Path, heading towards Blackdown before pausing at the Temple of the Winds lookout for views over the South Downs. It can be hilly with frequently changing terrain, including fields, ancient woodland, rare heathland, and valleys. A refreshment stop is included before the return to Haslemere.
