Shelton Striders 10K

The Shelton Striders 10K is a flat race hosted by the Derby club, starting and finishing at the Boulton Lane Park Community Centre in Alvaston. The main 10K begins in the morning, with a two-mile Fun Run taking place later from the same location. The 10K course follows the canal path, other local trails, and Infinity Way. Organisers suggest the course is suitable for runners aiming for a personal best. The Fun Run route stays near the old canal path and adjacent fields. Entry for the Fun Run is available on the day at the Community Centre. A donation to charity is included with each 10K entry, and finisher T-shirts are offered as an optional purchase.
