SheUltra™ 2027

SheUltra™ is a women-only ultra marathon on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, featuring a 50 km course and a 6:00 a.m. start. It is described as the world’s largest all-female ultra marathon event, accommodating approximately 2,000 participants. The event welcomes women of all experience levels, not exclusively seasoned ultra runners. The route measures 49.39 km, with 909 m of climbing and a similar amount of descent, qualifying it for ITRA Mountain Level 2 status. Runners participate solo and have access to five aid stations. The time limit is 30 hours with no cut-offs, allowing walkers and first-timers to proceed at their own pace. The event connects its community focus with the journey against cancer, and participant ages range from 17 to 84.
