The Top of the Wolds 10k Challenge is a multi-terrain 10K run around Nunburnholme Wold in East Yorkshire, held in June. It begins in the village of Warter, a small Wolds village notable for its photographed row of thatched cottages, an unusual roof covering for this region of Yorkshire.
The route proceeds on a quiet lane toward Nunburnholme, then turns left for the ascent of Nunburnholme Hill. Following a halfway drink station, participants leave the road for a bridleway trail, descending through woodland before returning to Warter for the conclusion.
