About this race
The Warwickshire Triathlon begins at Stratford Leisure Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon with a 200m swim in a heated 33-metre indoor pool. This short, chip-timed swim-bike-run event is suitable for beginners, charity entrants, club athletes, and more experienced triathletes. There are no cut-off times, and the course is noted as one of the fastest triathlon routes in the country.
Following the pool swim, participants cycle an 18km countryside route towards Warwick before returning to Stratford. The race concludes with a flat 2.5km out-and-back run along the towpath beside the River Avon. Thousands of competitors have finished the event, and every entrant receives an official finisher’s medal. The race also features a Cancer Research UK Wave for those fundraising through UK Triathlon.
