Wilmslow Running Festival 2027

The Wilmslow Running Festival begins and ends at the Memorial Ground in Wilmslow, Cheshire (postcode SK9 5PZ), with a 9:30 am start. It combines the established Wilmslow Half Marathon with a 10K and a 2.5K Fun Run, catering to club runners aiming for a personal best, teams competing together, and families seeking a shorter distance. The Half Marathon originated in the 1980s. The current festival format retains this main race alongside quicker, shorter races. The Half Marathon and 10K routes traverse fast Cheshire countryside roads suitable for personal-best attempts, while the Fun Run is accessible to all ages and abilities. The Langricks Team Challenge offers a team entry for the 10K or Half Marathon. Over the past 30 years, the event has generated over £1.5 million for charity, also directing income to support local community groups.
