10K races near Daun

The IRT-Läufermeeting takes place in Föhren, Rhineland-Palatinate, during early October. All races begin and end on Europa-Allee. The event includes short children's races and a 10k main race, alongside a 5k run, a 5k walking and Nordic walking event, and the 5k Rheinland-Pfalz U16 championship. The 5k course is a flat loop measuring 1.6 miles. The 10k is a flat, multi-lap loop, meaning participants will pass the same section multiple times instead of completing a single long course. The event caters to a wide range of participants: the Bambini run is for ages 2 to 5 over 250 meters, the 1k children's and youth race is for ages 6 to 11, the open 5k is for runners aged 10 and up, and the 10k main race is for those aged 14 and older.

The Computacenter Martinslauf Sindorf is a season-ending evening race in Sindorf, featuring one shared start and three finish distances. Participants begin together, then choose on the course whether to finish after one lap (3.3 km), two laps (6.6 km), or three laps (10 km). The event area is designed to be cozy, not vast. The program includes St. Martin-themed races for children. The GVG student run offers a sporty take on the usual St. Martin procession, with children completing two 1 km laps, singing Martins songs, and receiving a Weckmann pastry upon finishing. A Bambini run is also available for the youngest participants.

The International Wallenborn Brubbellauf is an evening running event in Wallenborn, Germany, starting and finishing at the local sports grounds. Held in November, it features a 10.2 km main race, a 4.08 km Jedermannlauf, a company run for teams from the same workplace, youth races, walking and Nordic walking, and short children's races down to 200 m for the youngest participants. The route winds through the town center of Wallenborn, keeping the event compact and local instead of spreading over a wide road course. Beginners are explicitly welcome, and late entries are accepted on site until shortly before each start. The race program accommodates participants from children to walkers to competitive runners. Main-race podium finishers receive prize money, class winners and other race winners get non-cash prizes, all participants can download an online certificate, and a prize draw follows the main-race awards.
