6th Flamingo Run Kalochori 2026 - 10K

The Flamingo Run Kalochori is a 10K race held in Kalochori, close to Thessaloniki. It starts at 09:30 in autumn and is organized by the Athletic Club Artemida Kalochori, the Cultural Association of Kalochori, and the Municipality of Delta. This is the 6th edition of the race. Entry costs €10, and participants must be at least 12 years old. Those under 18 require written consent from a parent or guardian. The course follows the lagoon and the “Red Road” area of Kalochori, primarily on packed dirt track with a brief asphalt stretch. It is a flat course with no inclines, making the challenge one of maintaining rhythm and adapting to the surface rather than climbing. Participants receive chip timing, age-category results, two aid stations, water along the route and at the finish, a technical shirt, a medal, a banana, and a cereal bar. The event has a policy regarding cancellations: no refunds are issued after a cancellation. Awards are presented to the top three men and women overall, as well as to age-group winners.
