WAVE running – Coastal Running Race 2026

WAVE Running is a 5 km beach race in Myrodato, Xanthi, on the coast of northern Greece. The race starts in the evening at Myrodato Beach, finishes there too, and is short enough for beginners as well as regular runners. The course is on sand, and runners can even do it barefoot if they want the full beach-race feel. There is water on course, the entry fee is 16 euros, and the series has reached its 10th edition.
