In the Magas-Bakony region, this mountain running event is closely linked to the hills surrounding the Mos-hegyi lookout, Boszorkány-tető, and the Eperjes-hegyi nature trail. The Eplényi hegyifutó verseny és teljesítménytúrák offers a straightforward trail event experience: participants can run on "beautiful terrain" or opt for a performance hike, either on foot or by bike. The course begins near the football field, ascends towards the lookout, traverses Boszorkány-tető, and then returns via the nature trail to the same football-field finish. The Bakony terrain provides genuine uphill and downhill running challenges, yet beginners and families will feel comfortable, particularly on the walking routes. Participants receive refreshments upon finishing, along with a badge and an optional emailed certificate.
