The Hajag Félmaraton terepfutó verseny takes place on Hajag, High Bakony Hajag Mountain. It is primarily a woods trail race, not a road race with some dirt sections. The race begins in the clearing next to the forestry road leading to Hajag-tető. It then proceeds around the base of Hajag and over the mountain using marked tourist paths and nature trails, with plastic tape marking turns.
Runners can expect to navigate the terrain rather than solely focus on speed. The course utilizes the forest tracks and trail system. Refreshments are available at Augusztin-tanya, and the finish line is in the same clearing where participants receive a unique commemorative medal. A local tradition involves wild garlic, connected to the Medvehagymás Hajag hike. The finish line food includes wild-garlic lángos along with standard post-race refreshments.
