Orfű Spartan Beast & Sprint

Picturesque Orfű and its surrounding trails give this Spartan weekend a proper outdoor feel, the kind of place where the race can double as a small holiday. The terrain is counted as medium difficulty for elevation gain, so it should bite without turning into a pure climbing sufferfest. Elite and Age Group runners line up with the usual sharp elbows, while the kids races keep the festival area busy too. The Beast carries extra weight here as the third stop of the CEU Regional Championship, with Elite and Age Group finishers earning a unique CEU Regional Series Finisher medal. Everyone else still gets the traditional Spartan Finisher medals at the finish, and the races count toward both the regular and regional Trifecta. There is also a 12-hour Hurricane Heat starting in the evening, which is a very Spartan way to make a summer weekend feel longer than planned.
