Szintet lép a Bükk Kupa 2026

The Bükk Cup is a 10 km cycling race in Hungary’s Bükk Mountains, held between Lillafüred and Jávorkút. It is organized as the Bükk Cup - József Somogyi Memorial Race, typically annually, with only a few seasons missed. This race is not a city criterium or a long gran fondo; it is a short mountain-road contest focused on a single climb-side route in the Bükk. The race's origin is personal. József Somogyi, who led the MVSC cycling section, aimed to revive the spirit of the old Bükk Cup with a challenging mountain race. He passed away unexpectedly before completing his plans. His son, László Somogyi, took over and organized the first edition in under three months. That initial race attracted 120 participants, and the positive feedback from riders helped sustain the event as a memorial and the foundation for an expanding Bükk race series.
