Tanúhegyek Trail 12 km

Badacsony shapes this trail race, with volcanic witness hills within a prime section of the Balaton Uplands National Park, using Halászkert as the race-day hub. This is a true off-road event, not a road race with scenery. The reward for ascending is a clear view over Lake Balaton and the Balaton Uplands in their autumn hues. Runners tackle 5, 3, or 1 witness hill, depending on the course. The day focuses on climbing, dirt trails, and rewarding views. A dog-runner category exists on the shortest route, indicating the laid-back nature of the trail community. A notable detail at the finish is that the timing-chip deposit can be given to support the Üröm Animal Shelter.
