Tanúhegyek Trail 26 km

Badacsony provides the character for this trail race, with volcanic witness hills situated within a prime section of Balaton-felvidéki National Park. Tanúhegyek Trail is organized by Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület, with a straightforward objective for any trail runner: ascend one, three, or five of these hills to be rewarded with the scenery. From the summits, one can see "dazzling views over Balaton" and the "Balaton Highlands blazing in autumn colours." The start and finish are located at Halászkúrt, establishing a clear out-and-back structure from the beginning. Participants can anticipate authentic off-road running with varied terrain and sufficient elevation gain to make the lake vistas feel earned. The participants include seasoned trail runners, and the shortest route accommodates dogs. A thoughtful addition is the option to donate the timing-chip deposit to Ürömi Animal Shelter.
