Tanúhegyek Trail 32 km

Badacsony and the Balaton Uplands National Park form the core of the Tanúhegyek Trail: volcanic hills, autumn forests, and exposed ridges overlooking the lake. This trail race, organized by Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület, centers on ascending one, three, or five of these hills based on the chosen route, offering "dazzling views over Lake Balaton" and the Balaton Uplands "glowing in autumn colors." The start and finish are at Halászkert, providing the familiar out-and-back structure runners value on a challenging course. Expect genuine off-road running, not a paved event: climbs to conquer, views that distract from pace, and participants running with dogs in the canicross race on the shortest route. A local tradition includes a charity option: the timing chip deposit can be given to support the Üröm Animal Shelter.
