Tanúhegyek Trail 8 km

Badacsony provides the backbone for this trail: volcanic witness hills within the Balaton Uplands National Park, with Halászkert serving as the start and finish point. The Tanúhegyek Trail is a local off-road race with a straightforward concept: depending on your chosen route, you will ascend one, three, or five witness hills. These climbs offer rewarding vistas of Lake Balaton and the Balaton Uplands "glowing in autumn colors." This event offers genuine trail running, not a flat race. The course is designed around these specific hills, incorporating the rhythm of ascending, enjoying the scenery, and descending back toward Badacsony. The shortest route includes a dog race, indicating the event's atmosphere: participants, local supporters, and those simply enjoying the day. A charitable aspect is included, as the timing chip deposit can be given to the Üröm Animal Shelter.
