Tanúhegyek Trail Félmaraton

Halászkert serves as the starting point for a rugged trail run traversing a prime section of the Balaton Uplands National Park. The Tanúhegyek Trail Félmaraton centers on the witness hills; participants will ascend one, three, or five of them, depending on their chosen route, offering clear views of Lake Balaton and the Balaton Uplands bathed in autumn hues. The course is designed for climbing to enjoy the scenery, not for setting personal bests. Both the start and finish are located at Halászkert, creating a familiar loop structure: head out into the hills and return home. Runners can select the extent of their hill challenge. A unique feature includes a dog race along the shortest route, with the option to donate the timing chip deposit to the Üröm Animal Shelter.
