Tanúhegyek Trail Ultra

Badacsony and the Balaton-felvidéki National Park form the core of this trail race, featuring volcanic hills, open vistas, and autumn foliage instead of manicured road-running paths. The Tanúhegyek Trail Ultra is an event where the goal is to earn the scenery, with courses covering five, three, or one witness hill and offering "dazzling views of Lake Balaton" and the Balaton Uplands in autumn. The start and finish are at Halászkert, establishing a clear base before venturing onto the trails. Anticipate ascents, varied terrain, and frequent pauses to admire the landscape as the ridges open towards the lake. A dog-friendly race is available on the shortest distance, offering insight into the participants. A unique aspect: the timing chip deposit can be given to Ürömi Állatotthon, transforming a minor race-day detail into a charitable contribution.
