V. Zemplén Kőkapu Trail 2026

Rostalló and Nagyhuta place this event within the Zemplén woods, with the start at the Rostalló Eco-conscious Education Centre and the fifth edition of V. Zemplén Kőkapu Trail maintaining a trail focus. The invitation is direct: “Run or hike the hidden routes of Zemplén,” with the emphasis for runners on “well runnable terrain” instead of struggling through undergrowth. The course is marked and taped, featuring chip timing, aid stations, and route choices for runners and hikers. This offers a day on forest trails rather than a road race on dirt. Children have separate starts, adults can choose named routes such as Vadmacska, Hiúz, Muflon, and Szarvas, and finishers receive a metal medal, lunch, and the tradition of “free beer at finish.”
