Tisza István Castle in Nagykovácsi hosts this e-bike marathon within Crosskovácsi, offering the atmosphere of a genuine MTB day instead of a demonstration. This event, established in 2017 as the first electric mountain bike marathon in the region, continues to attract e-bike enthusiasts seeking a challenging course where motor assistance is regulated.
The course utilizes the Crosskovácsi Mountain Bike Marathon's middle route, featuring 1650 m of elevation gain. The assistance is present but does not simplify the challenge. E-bikes must be equipped with cadence and torque sensors, lack a throttle, and adhere to a "25km/h maximum assistance speed." Post-race, all participants require a public Strava profile with the ride made visible. A thorough bike inspection includes battery stickering and signing; riders are responsible for maintaining the sticker's integrity, as damage can disqualify them.
