At Jutaspuszta - Újmajor camp, the Veszprém Sprint & Super Honor Race offers more boots-and-mud energy than start-gate theatre. The Honor format arrived with a serious tradition, and this edition emphasized the Hungarian Defence Forces connection. It targeted runners who are motivated, protect and serve, or simply want to peek behind the fence of the “military lifestyle and community.”
The course is on terrain where, among the home Spartan venues that year, runners could expect the “smallest elevation gain.” The challenge is less mountain grind and more obstacle-course business. Expect camp roads, rough ground, a military-flavoured atmosphere, and a crowd that probably packs grit before gels. Finishers receive the special Honor Series Finisher medal, with the usual finisher shirt and Trifecta slice adding ceremonial clank to the finish-line shuffle.
