XVI. NN Ultrabalaton

Annagora Aquapark serves as the race headquarters for the 16th NN Ultrabalaton, a single-loop run encircling Lake Balaton. This event holds the distinction of being Central Europe's longest running race. It attracts solo participants, small relay teams, larger groups, and cyclists, all engaging in the same extended, collective endeavor. This is a challenge where the marathon distance merely marks the beginning. The course follows the lake's perimeter in a consistent direction for both runners and cyclists. This setup transforms the event into a continuous progression of exchanges, support vehicles, weary limbs, and scenic lake vistas. Some opt for the individual challenge, while others pursue the team "Running Fiesta." The cycling tour proceeds at its own pace, without time constraints or official timing, focusing instead on camaraderie, the beauty of Balaton, occasional quizzes, and the essential lángos.
