XXII. Bükk Hegyikerékpár Maraton

Bükki National Park is the main attraction: a mountain-bike marathon centered in Bélapátfalva and Apátságbélapátfalva. The XXII. Bükk Hegyikerékpár Maraton presents the straightforward challenge, “Conquer the mountains on two wheels!” It offers a rugged outdoor weekend feel, not a slick presentation, featuring the forested Bükk terrain, demanding climbs, and a race center that also houses the Bükk Outdoor Sport EXPO. The courses range from youth races to full adult and master categories. Pedelec riders begin in a separate wave, and chip timing ensures accurate results for all. Expect aid stations stocked with essentials, a finisher medal, pasta for participants, and a post-race bike wash, providing insight into the course before the start.
