6° Doganaccia Vertical 2026

The Doganaccia Vertical begins in Piazza Catilina, Cutigliano, and ascends to Croce Arcana in Tuscany’s Pistoia province. This short vertical mountain race takes place in September, covering approximately 5 km with about 1,000 meters of elevation gain, emphasizing sustained uphill effort over distance. The course crosses the Doganaccia-Cutigliano area and is characterized as technical and demanding by the organizer. Doganaccia 2000 is the organizing body, with technical support from A.S.C.D. Silvano Fedi of Pistoia. The event is also known as the Trofeo Piero Nesti. Now in its sixth edition, the race targets runners seeking a steep, concentrated challenge from the village streets to the ridge.
