8° Dolomites Saslong Hm 2026

The Dolomites Saslong HM is a 21 km mountain half marathon starting at Monte Pana, located between Val Gardena and Val di Fassa in Trentino-Alto Adige. Beginning at 9:00 AM, it includes 900 meters of elevation gain on a high-altitude trail course that ascends to 2,363 meters. This is the race's eighth edition, designed for runners of various skill levels. However, the terrain is authentic mountain running, featuring dirt paths, gravel, rocks, and technical sections, distinct from smooth road courses. From Monte Pana, the route proceeds towards Passo Sella, passing near Rifugio Comici and heading in the direction of Hotel Passo Sella. A prominent landmark is the Citta dei Sassi, a rocky zone beneath the Sassolungo group, before the course reaches the pass and transitions to the Fassa side of Sassolungo. Participants will then continue on high, technical trails, passing Rifugio Sasso Piatto, with the Marmolada glacier visible on the horizon from the higher sections of the route.
