Adriatic Series - Sibilla Trail

Sibilla Trail begins in the center of Montemonaco, a small town in the province of Ascoli Piceno, sending runners directly into the Monti Sibillini National Park. This July trail-running event starts at 9:00 a.m. It features a competitive 26 km race with 1,600 m of elevation gain, alongside a 10 km option with 500 m of climbing and a 6 km walk for those who prefer the mountain scenery without a race. The primary route departs the town center, crosses the inhabited area, and then enters the core of the Sibillini mountains within the Montemonaco municipality. The longer race follows the “Fairies” path, a name reflecting the local Sibillini folklore associated with Monte Sibilla. The event is organized by AVIS Ascoli Marathon, Total Training, Flipper Triathlon Ascoli, and Space Running ASD, with support from the municipality, Pro Loco, local associations, and volunteers.
