About this race
Dorelan Reactive Cycling is a granfondo held in Peschiera del Garda, situated on the southern shore of Lake Garda in northern Italy. The event takes place over an autumn weekend, offering participants a 97.5 km route with 1,190 metres of elevation gain, presenting a true endurance challenge rather than a simple lakeside ride.
The course winds through the Garda Veneto hills, providing vistas of Lake Garda. Its most demanding section is the Muro del Garda, encountered near the midpoint of the ride. This climb spans 500 metres and reaches a steep 20% gradient. Approximately 1,500 athletes participate, drawing competitors from all over Italy and 25 other nations, including Germany, Great Britain, and Switzerland. Dryarn is a key sponsor, connecting the event with an Italian sportswear fibre brand that has supplied athlete apparel for two decades.
