Granfondo Milano - San Remo

Sunday, June 7, 2026 · Milano/San Remo, Italy

About this race

Milano-Sanremo is a men’s professional one-day road race in Italy, running from Milan to San Remo in mid-March. It typically occurs on the Saturday nearest Saint Joseph’s Day and begins the season’s series of major classics. Riders frequently refer to it as the Spring Classic or La Classicissima, and its length is nearly 300 km, making it the longest one-day race in top-level cycling. The route and mileage have changed very little since the first edition, a rarity among the biggest classics. The race is one of cycling’s five Monuments, alongside Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and the Tour of Lombardy. It was formerly part of the World Cup and UCI ProTour circuits and is now on the UCI WorldTour, attracting the sport’s strongest one-day racers and grand-tour riders capable of enduring a very long day.
